Production service-business systems
Aafiyah Digital Platform & Integrations
Built interconnected production systems covering booking, authentication, payments, transactional email, dashboards and API/webhook automation across full-stack and serverless architectures.
- Next.js
- TypeScript
- Supabase/PostgreSQL
- AWS Lambda
- API Gateway
- SES
- Stripe
- Resend
- Meta Graph API
Context
A production engineering ecosystem spanning multiple service-business applications with recurring patterns across authentication, booking, payments, messaging and automation.
The underlying business repositories and sensitive infrastructure remain private.
The ecosystem
Hijama Frontend
Booking application built with:
- Next.js
- Supabase authentication and PostgreSQL
- Hijri calendar integration
- AWS SES transactional email
Aafiyah Backend
Serverless integration and automation backend built with:
- Node.js
- AWS Lambda + API Gateway
- Serverless Framework
- Meta Graph API
- HMAC webhook signature verification
- duplicate/replay-event protection
- automated comment-to-DM lead capture
This project gave me practical experience with event-driven architecture, webhook security and debugging integrations across external APIs and AWS services.
Aafiyah Foundation
Reusable service-business application built with:
- Next.js + TypeScript
- Stripe payments
- Resend transactional email
- Zod validation
- booking and payment flows
- WhatsApp lead capture
- reusable service-business components
Aafiyah Dashboard
Multi-tenant administration system covering:
- Next.js + TypeScript
- Supabase/PostgreSQL
- Row-Level Security
- bookings and administration
- analytics
- content management
- Stripe/Paymob integration
- GA4 Data API
Engineering across the platform
Across these systems I worked with:
- authentication and database access
- PostgreSQL Row-Level Security and multi-tenancy
- payment and booking workflows
- transactional email
- REST APIs and third-party integrations
- serverless AWS infrastructure
- webhook verification and event processing
- production deployment and troubleshooting
Current architecture
Most web applications are being operated through my self-hosted Forgejo/Coolify infrastructure, while the Meta webhook backend remains on AWS Lambda.
The Lambda workload intentionally remains serverless while Meta application-review work continues.
